You can select the metafields added for the Products and Variants on Shopify and display them on the Purchase Order PDF. Follow the below steps:

1. Go to Settings → Purchase Order and scroll to the Shopify Metafields section.

1. Enable ‘Copy Product Metafields’ or ‘Copy Variant Metafields’ based on the metafields you need to include in the Purchase Order.
2. Click ‘Select Definitions’ to choose the metafields to copy to the purchase order line item.
3. You can select up to 5 definitions to copy and click on ‘Select’.

1. Once done, click on Save to save the Purchase Order Settings.
2. Now, when the products are added as line items to the Purchase Order, the metafields will be included.

1. The next step is to include these Metafields on the Purchase Order Template.

2. Go to Settings → Template Editor → Purchase Order Template. Click on Customize Template.

3. Select the Line Items & Totals section from the main menu on the left and scroll down to the Metafields settings.

   

4. Choose the column to display the Metafields on the Line Item table. You can either display the metafields under Product Title or Product Options.

1. Once done, click Save to save the template.
